On the first day of your 9-Days best of Uganda safari gorilla trekking, Chimpanzee tracking tour, you will drive from Entebbe to Lake Mburo, which takes about 4 to 5 hours. After arriving, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch before heading out for an evening game drive. During this drive, keep an eye out for giraffes, zebras, and common elands in their natural habitat. As dusk falls, you will go on a night game drive, increasing your chances of spotting elusive predators like leopards. After an exciting day, you will return to your lodge for an overnight stay, reflecting on the wildlife you've encountered and looking forward to the days ahead.

On the second day, you will start with a morning walking safari, taking in the sights and sounds of Lake Mburo. Afterward, you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. This scenic drive will take about 6 hours. Upon arrival, you will have time to rest and prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking. Your evening will be spent relaxing at the lodge, enjoying the atmosphere of the forest and getting ready for the experience that awaits.

Day three will focus on trekking with the gorillas in the Rushaaga sector, known for its high population of habituated gorilla families. You will set off early in the morning, with trekking times varying from 2 to 8 hours depending on how quickly you locate the gorillas. This experience will allow you to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural environment. After the trek, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, the deepest lake in Uganda. In the evening, you can enjoy a relaxing canoe ride on the lake, reflecting on the day's activities before settling in for the night.

On the fourth day, you will drive for about 4 hours from Lake Bunyonyi to Queen Elizabeth National Park, taking in the beautiful landscapes along the way. You’ll pass through areas adorned with green tea gardens, enhancing the drive. Upon arrival, you will have lunch at your lodge in Queen Elizabeth. Later in the afternoon, you will go on an evening game drive, where you can spot a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, buffaloes, and elephants. After an eventful day of exploration, you will return to the lodge to relax and rest for the night.

Day five will begin with a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth Park, providing another chance to see wildlife, including the Big Five. Afterward, you'll enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you can observe crocodiles and hippos in the water, as well as elephants and buffaloes along the riverbanks. Following this enjoyable experience, you will have lunch at your lodge before transferring to Kibale Forest Park, which is about 1.5 hours away. Once you arrive, you will have time to rest and prepare for upcoming activities in this lush forest.

This drive will allow you to observe the park’s diverse wildlife, setting the stage for an exciting experience in one of Uganda's most famous national parks.

Day seven will begin with a morning game drive, giving you another chance to spot the Big Five, including lions, leopards, and elephants, along with other wildlife such as spotted hyenas and various antelopes. In the afternoon, you will take a boat safari to the base of Murchison Falls, witnessing the power of the water as it cascades down the gorge. After this engaging experience, you will return to your lodge for an overnight stay, reflecting on the day’s adventures and the beauty of the park.

On the final day of your 9-Days best of Uganda safari gorilla trekking, Chimpanzee tracking tour, you will check out of your lodge and head to the top of Murchison Falls for another perspective of this remarkable natural feature. Here, you will have the opportunity to photograph the falls as the water plunges over a 45-meter gorge. After enjoying this scenic moment, you will begin your trip back to Entebbe International Airport, taking with your unforgettable memories of your time in Uganda.
