This 3-day guided jeep safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park is a “medley of wonders” that gives you two nights at a safari lodge in the Queen Elizabeth area. You’ll enjoy classic activities including game drives on the Kasenyi Plains, a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, and scenic stops to learn and take photos at popular places such as the Equator crossing points in Kikorongo and Kayabwe. You will also visit crater lakes in the Rubirizi area, including places like Katwe and other crater lakes, depending on the day’s route and timing. Day 1 starts with pickup from Entebbe or Kampala and evening game drive
Our Roads of Adventure safari guide will contact you either at the airport or at your residence and pick you up for the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey is done in a classic jeep with a pop-up roof for easy wildlife viewing and great photography, and it takes about 6 to 7 hours depending on road conditions and any planned stops. You will have lunch at Ishanyu Restaurant or at another suitable arranged stop near the route, then continue to the park area. You will check in at your agreed lodge, relax briefly, and later enjoy an evening game drive within the park while animals are still active. After the game drive, you return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxed evening with stories and guidance from your driver-guide about what to expect the next day.

Day 2: Morning game drive in Kasenyi plains & Boat cruise along Kazinga channel
Day 2 is your main wildlife day. You begin with an early morning game drive on Kasenyi Plains. Your guide will remind you how early morning is one of the best times to spot predators such as lions and leopards while they are still hunting or active. The game drive usually lasts about 2 to 3 hours and you’ll have time to see plenty of wildlife, take photos, and enjoy the changing landscapes across the plains. After the morning drive, you return to the lodge for a refreshing breakfast and rest. In the afternoon, you’ll be guided to the Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise, usually lasting about 2 to 3 hours. During the cruise, you may spot crocodiles resting near the water, hippos coming up to breathe, and many different species of water birds. The channel is also busy with wildlife that come to drink and refresh, so it’s often a full and exciting experience with lots of photo moments from the boat. In the evening, you return to the lodge to relax, share highlights of your day with your guide, and confirm your schedule for day three.

Along the way, your guide will stop at popular sites such as the Equator monument area around Kikorongo, and the Rubirizi crater lakes region for scenery and nature viewing, including areas like Katwe and other crater lakes depending on what is accessible at the time. You’ll also stop at the Kayabwe Equator point for a short break with photos and souvenir shopping before continuing to Entebbe.
