Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your 8 Days Uganda Safari Holiday begins with a transfer north to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. The journey takes approximately 3 to 4 hours, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful Ugandan countryside. Once at the sanctuary, check into your lodge and relax after your travels. Although a boat cruise on the Nile is not possible today, you can enjoy the serene environment of the sanctuary. Settle in for the evening and prepare for the exciting activities that lie ahead. Overnight at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

Day 2: Ziwa Rhino Tracking and Transfer to Murchison Falls

Start your day with an early morning rhino tracking experience at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, guided by an experienced ranger. This walking safari allows you to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. After tracking, continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, which takes about 3.5 hours. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and prepare for an evening boat safari on the Victoria Nile. This cruise offers opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species. Day 3: Game Drive, Hike to the Top of the Falls, and Transfer to Fort Portal

Wake up early for a game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, where you may encounter giraffes, elephants, lions, and various antelope species. Afterward, drive to the top of Murchison Falls for a hike, witnessing the Nile’s incredible power as it squeezes through a narrow gap. Following this adventure, embark on a 6 to 7-hour drive to Fort Portal, the gateway to Kibale Forest. Check into your lodge upon arrival and relax before preparing for the chimpanzee trekking the next day. Overnight in the Fort Portal/Kibale Forest area.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest and Cultural Tour

After an early breakfast, transfer to the Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for your chimpanzee tracking briefing. Guided by an expert, enter Kibale Forest to find and observe a community of habituated chimpanzees in their natural surroundings. Spend quality time with these fascinating primates. In the afternoon, enjoy a local cultural experience by visiting nearby Bigodi Village or Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, where you can spot more primates and diverse bird species. Day 5: Bigodi Wetland Walk and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

In the late afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Mburo, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. Overnight at Lake Mburo National Park.

Day 8: Game Walk, Drive Back to Kampala, and Departure

Start your final day with a guided nature walk in Lake Mburo National Park, a unique experience that allows you to walk among zebras, warthogs, and other plains game. After the walk, begin your drive back to Entebbe/Kampala, which takes about 4 to 5 hours. Stop at the Equator for a photo opportunity and lunch along the way. Upon reaching Entebbe, if time allows, explore some local sights or do last-minute shopping for souvenirs.
