Detailed Itinerary Day By Day

Day 1-2: Arusha and Tarangire National Park

On Day 1, arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your lodge in Arusha, the safari hub of northern Tanzania. Spend the afternoon relaxing or exploring local markets to experience the culture and hospitality of the Tanzanian people. Your guide will brief you on the exciting itinerary ahead. On Day 2, enjoy breakfast before heading to Tarangire National Park, which is about a four-hour drive away. Once you arrive, go on afternoon game drives, where you can see large herds of elephants, majestic giraffes, and various bird species, such as the African grey parrot. Spend Days 7 and 8 on full-day game drives, each lasting around 6 to 7 hours, where you can observe large herds of wildebeest and zebras, along with predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
